Apart from the commonly accepted rules set by society, mental health is a point of view that remains largely "Undefined". It is no coincidence that Krystalyan chose "The Exit" as the entry track to their album. The lyrics written by Bryan explore the inner workings of a tormented soul fighting for a breath of hope. This opens the door into a world of confusion where opposing aspects of human nature seem helplessly intertwined. This theme is carried through into the musical arrangement of the album. Like the lyrics, the music aspires to depict different aspects of human nature offering a wide variety of moods and using the styles of melodic, death, trash and groove metal. This makes it difficult to define the exact genre of Krystalyan giving the band an original sound.
